SMP 7 Kota Jambi tampil dalam Angso Duo Carnaval di depan rumah dinas Wali Kota Jambi Minggu (10/05). Penampilan mereka dimulai dengan membawa poster Wali Kota Jambi dari periode pertama hingga periode saat ini. Satu di antara siswanya pun membacakan silsilah sejarah Kota Jambi. Setiap peserta karnaval pun menampilkan ciri khas yang berbeda.
